Graduation Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Human Genetics

Major Requirements:

  1. Students declaring a major in Molecular Biology and Human Genetics must complete a minimum of 128 credit hours of course work before graduation, including:
    • The department’s required courses;
    • credit hours of the department’s modular courses;
    • All University core courses, 3 credit hours of PE courses and 26 credit hours of General Education courses.
  2. Students must meet the department’s graduation requirements.
  3. Students must present proof of their participation in service-learning activities.

Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Human Genetics

Degree requirements:

  • Completion of 24 credit hours of graduate-level required and elective courses.
  • Completion of 6 credit hours of thesis writing.
