Something to do with the resources related to teaching and learning

(1) Department photocopy card:

  1. The department photocopy card is for official use only; therefore, it is provided to teachers and departmental administration or for teaching services.
  2. The card can be also lent for photocopies of project, conference, or seminar summaries.
  3. 3. Registration is required for each use.
  4. The department has the right to decide whether or not to lend the card.

(2) Single-shot projector and notebook:

  1. Borrowing policy: Borrowers are required to fill out the registration and indicate the expected return time. If the borrowing duration needs to be extended, please inform us by phone. When returning the item(s), please remember to sign off.
  2. Return policy: Please place the projector and notebook in their bags when you are finished with them, and return them to the place indicated on the bag. If the borrowed object is not returned properly, or any item is missing, the department will stop borrower’s qualification for one semester and require the borrower to compensate the missing item.
  3. Borrowing priority: Courses offered by the department will have priority. Please borrow before the class begins. For the first class in the afternoon, please borrow before 11:30 a.m.; for the first class in the morning, please make your request the day before.
  4. In other cases, the rule of borrowing is “First come, first serve.”

(3) Borrowing the projector and related items, such as a laser pointer:

  1. Borrowing policy: Borrowers are required to fill out the registration and indicate the expected return time. If the borrowing duration needs to be extended, please inform us by phone. When returning the item(s), please remember to sign off.
  2. If the item has incurred non-human damage, please inform the department immediately for repair; if it has human damage, the borrower shall be responsible for compensation of the borrowed item.
  3. Borrowing priority: Courses offered by the department will have priority. Please borrow before the class begins. For the first class in the afternoon, please borrow before 11:30 a.m.; for the first class in the morning, please make your request the day before.
  4. In other cases, the rule of borrowing is “First come, first serve.”

(4) Conference room reservation policy:

  1. If there is a scheduled agenda, the conference room will not be available for reservations.
  2. The conference room can be reserved for class usage. Please come to the office to get the key. For the first class in the afternoon, please get the key before 11:30 a.m.; for the first class in the morning, please make the request and get the key the day before.  The key should be returned immediately after the door is unlocked.
  3. To reserve the conference room for other matters, please come to the office to register and get the key. The keys should also be returned immediately after the door is unlocked.
  4. The conference room should always be kept clean. After finishing use of the room, please remove garbage and wipe the whiteboard clean to maintain cleanliness.
  5. Chairs, teaching materials and books in the conference room should not be taken from the room. Please lock the front and back doors when leaving the room.
  6. Please follow the rules when using the conference room; otherwise, the department has the right to decline the reservation.
  7. For long-term reservations of the conference room, please fill out an application.

In the event of any insufficiencies or changes to the above policy, the updated rules are prioritized.
